What's New

Starting this week, the notification center in the dashboard has added an email channel. You can now choose to receive downtime alerts, recovery notifications, SSL certificate expiration reminders, API quota usage alerts, and the weekly availability report sent every Monday morning via email.

Each project can have its own recipient list, supporting up to twenty email addresses, making it easy to send alerts directly to the person responsible for the relevant service.

How to Enable

Go to the notification settings page in the dashboard, click enable on the email channel card, verify your email address, and then select the event types you want to subscribe to. Users who have already configured Webhook or Slack notifications are unaffected, and multiple channels can be active simultaneously.

Alert emails are sent in both plain text and HTML formats, ensuring that key information can be read even in the most basic email clients.

Next Steps

Next, we will support quiet hours for alerts and email digest consolidation to prevent inbox flooding during consecutive nighttime failures. Enterprise users will also gain the ability to use a custom sender domain.
